HeadOverSneakers

Finally, after months of having a withdrawal from this manga series, I was once again reunited with Kimi ni Todoke books. I recently finished the 10th and 11th book and there are no better books to read before Valentine’s Day than these. /sarcasm. haha. It just happened that after 9 books of constant confusion and doubts about their relationship, Kazehaya and Sawako finally decides to confess their feelings for each other in book 10 and then, the rest of the book until the end of it’s sequel just went so perfectly. I got easily hooked on this series because everything that happens to them throughout the books feel so sincere and real. The story may be a bit slow paced but that fact tells you how much time the girl and the guy took to think about and really show each other what they feel. While I was reading the most recent ones, all I could think about is how lucky Sawako is and how I would want to have someone exactly like Kazehaya in my life right now. :))
And that’s me getting so cheesy about books. If you haven’t read this series, you definitely have to search for it in the nearest bookstore or library around you as soon as possible! ;)

These are two of some of the books I read during the winter break. They what stopped me from dying from boredom during those weeks and they kind of brought me somewhere else when in reality, I was just stuck in my bedroom and came out whenever there’s food. :))

The first one I finished was Crescendo, the sequel to Hush, Hush. And just like the first book, this one left me hanging. If I’m keeping a list of all the biggest cliffhanger books, this one will immediately make the top spot. Though I found this a bit boring compared to the first, maybe because there are less Patch & Nora moments, it’s still good and the ending was quite unexpected. I never knew a lot of things could happen in a short course of time, or in this case, a single book. I definitely can’t wait to have book 3, Silence, on the palm of my hands.

Princess Diaries book 5. This book of the series was, how could I describe this? hmm… probably something a high school teenager in a relationship may like. ;) Mia had troubles in this book which I quite wasn’t able to relate to because I’m forever alone but I enjoyed it nonetheless. One less book towards my goal to read all Meg Cabot’s novels! :>

Besides these, I also finished the books, “Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers,” and “Pretty Little Liars.” Right now, I’m reading “The Secret Circle,” “Stop in the Name of Pants,” and “Party Princess,” book 7 of Princess Diaries. :>

You know how I know I always talk about our public library in most of my posts but I’ve never really posted pictures of it before? Well finally, I was able to visit the place with my camera and I grabbed the chance to take few shots of what it looks inside.

There you go. Have a look on my newly found home. :>

I swear to God I’ll have a personal library once I’m able to have my own home. :))

I’ll make a better post about this sometime. Dad’s making me sleep now. -

GOAL #1/52: READ ALL OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS’ NOVELS
Just like any other bookworm, I have favourite authors whose every book, I would like to have and read. As I shared in this post, Meg Cabot is holding the top spot on the list of authors I like the most. I’ve read a lot of her novels already yet it would be fulfilling if I get to finish all. This isn’t much of a challenge and hopefully, with some help from our public library, I’ll be able to read more of Cabot’s books with in the year. ;)
After Meg Cabot is a mile-long list of other great authors I like whose books I’m dying to finish reading too. (Well, you know. A bookworm can not just settle with one favourite author. He or she will always be torn with more goodwriters. haha.) So besides Cabot’s books, it will be awesome if I get to read more of Nicholas Sparks’s, Suzanne Collins’s, Rick Riordan’s, LJ Smith’s, Alex Flinn’s, and the list goes on. :))

If you read the book “The Wedding Planner’s Daughter” before, you might find this quote familiar. I read that book 3 years ago yet this quote from the novel is still stuck on my mind until now. I feel like most girls in the present generation could relate on it. I just notice how a lot of girls who are single, feel incomplete. They get this idea that they’re obliged to be with someone because others of their age does. Sure, most girls are longing for that certain guy who could fill up the empty space in their hearts but it isn’t always necessary to have that space filled immediately. Us girls are stronger than what we think. There’s more to life than guys and being in relationships. Your heart is valuable and it is important that you only let someone deserving, in it. Love is unpredictable so you should know who’s worth taking risk for. Princes will come but there will always be the perfect one. You will meet him at the right time yet while he’s still searching for you, don’t pressure yourself to find someone to fill his post temporarily. Wait for him for once he arrives, you’ll know that all those months or years of waiting are surely worth it. ;)

Here I go again with this kind of posts. I wonder how I get to write these stuffs when I’m probably the most inexperienced when it comes to falling in love. :)) This just passed by my mind again so I thought of posting it here.

I got my nose stuck in this book for 2 days last week. <3
Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
..is one absolutely good book. I borrowed this from a friend because I’ve been hearing positive feedbacks on it recently. When I first saw it, I thought it’s another Twilight-like book but instead of vampires, this one’s about fallen angels yet I knew better the time I started with it. I’m not a fast reader but this book kept me reading the whole 2 nights. The ending of each chapters are cliffhangers that gave me no choice but to flip to the next pages. I can’t get enough of the mysteries that kept adding up as I continuously finish chapters. Patch and Nora are <3. :)) I’m pretty sure I’ll start reading the sequels these coming weeks.

So yeah. Here are my best buds for the next few days.
Princess Diaries book 5
Princess Diaries book 6
Away Laughing on a Fast Camel (Confessions of Georgia Nicolson book 5)
I always wanted to finish both series. I am in love with Mia’s and Georgia’s humorous journal entries. Thanks to the library I’ll be able to read them all soon ;)
If only Chami and Lady are here to enjoy these books with me. We share the same love for these series. I remember that time when we planned who’s buying what book of Georgia’s series so all of us could eventually finish it. :)) I hope I could pass these books to them once I’m done. If only I could.. haha.
