These are two of some of the books I read during the winter break. They what stopped me from dying from boredom during those weeks and they kind of brought me somewhere else when in reality, I was just stuck in my bedroom and came out whenever there’s food. :))
The first one I finished was Crescendo, the sequel to Hush, Hush. And just like the first book, this one left me hanging. If I’m keeping a list of all the biggest cliffhanger books, this one will immediately make the top spot. Though I found this a bit boring compared to the first, maybe because there are less Patch & Nora moments, it’s still good and the ending was quite unexpected. I never knew a lot of things could happen in a short course of time, or in this case, a single book. I definitely can’t wait to have book 3, Silence, on the palm of my hands.
Princess Diaries book 5. This book of the series was, how could I describe this? hmm… probably something a high school teenager in a relationship may like. ;) Mia had troubles in this book which I quite wasn’t able to relate to because I’m forever alone but I enjoyed it nonetheless. One less book towards my goal to read all Meg Cabot’s novels! :> Besides these, I also finished the books, “Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers,” and “Pretty Little Liars.” Right now, I’m reading “The Secret Circle,” “Stop in the Name of Pants,” and “Party Princess,” book 7 of Princess Diaries. :>

GOAL #1/52: READ ALL OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS’ NOVELS Just like any other bookworm, I have favourite authors whose every book, I would like to have and read. As I shared in this post, Meg Cabot is holding the top spot on the list of authors I like the most. I’ve read a lot of her novels already yet it would be fulfilling if I get to finish all. This isn’t much of a challenge and hopefully, with some help from our public library, I’ll be able to read more of Cabot’s books with in the year. ;) After Meg Cabot is a mile-long list of other great authors I like whose books I’m dying to finish reading too. (Well, you know. A bookworm can not just settle with one favourite author. He or she will always be torn with more goodwriters. haha.) So besides Cabot’s books, it will be awesome if I get to read more of Nicholas Sparks’s, Suzanne Collins’s, Rick Riordan’s, LJ Smith’s, Alex Flinn’s, and the list goes on. :))

I’m a known potterhead but here’s a confession, JKR is just second to Meg Cabot when it comes to my favorite authors. Meg Cabot is the author of the books The Mediator, Teen Idol, Airhead, Jinx, How to be Popular, All-American Girl and a lot more teen novels. She also wrote the book 1-800-Where-R-You which was made into a TV series (1-800 MISSING). The Disney Movies “The Princess Diaries” and it’s sequel was based from one of her novel of the same title too. Besides my love for adventure and fiction books, my first love will always be these lovely and amusing romance novels by Meg Cabot. It was when I finished Teen Idol did I start loving her stories. Since then, I began saving up so I can buy more of her books. I just find every plot of her novels relatable and unique plus I love how she makes them funny so they never really get boring. Unfortunately, I haven’t completed the Princess Diaries series yet and there’s still a lot more of her books which copies I don’t posses. Anyway, I shall add more of them in my collection soon when money reappears in my purse. :))
